BEGIN, LEARN and IMPROVE! Geckos provides intensive teaching for small groups of up to three students. All levels of climbers are welcome and all aspects of climbing, including leading and abseiling, can be taught.
Lessons usually run for one and a half or two hours, though other times can easily be arranged.
Small groups can also be taught at outdoor locations by arrangement.
Thank you very much for the afternoon climbing it was fantastic. We enjoyed it thoroughly and will hopefully be coming back for some more next year. Keep up the great work.
The instructor was absolutely brilliant, immediately adopting the right approach to someone so awkward in himself and around others. His patience and dedication to bringing the best out of people saw this guy going from a nervous and twitching self, to a beaming confident smiling guy who just couldn’t stop talking about it all the way home. I am very happy to recommend Richard and his team of instructors to work with anyone of any age or background. The work they do is invaluable in instilling self-confidence and a sense of achievement in young people.
Just a quick note to say thanks very much for taking Joe climbing on Friday. He enjoyed himself immensely and hasn’t stopped talking about it. I want to congratulate you on your manner as well, it’s very difficult to balance the safety side of things with enthusiasm and I thought the way you managed to encourage and inspire him was really impressive.
